What does a session include?
Arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before your session starts (up to 30 minutes for larger groups), ensuring all throwers have read and signed an individual waiver before arrival.
Our instructor-led Viking Axe Throwing sessions are 90 minutes long; we’ll start with a safety brief, then you’ll learn and practice how to throw an axe before taking part in team games and friendly competition with your group.
Each axe lane consists of 2 targets and up to 12 throwers. An instructor will available throughout to ensure you’re having a blast.
Do I have to book in advance?
Advance booking is essential – we unfortunately cannot accept walk-ins currently.
Please ensure every participant in your group has read and signed a waiver each before arriving at the venue at least 15 minutes early to avoid delays in your axe-perience!
Are there restrictions on who can throw axes?
Our axe throwing sessions are available to book for throwers aged 8 years and above – a parent or guardian must supervise any throwers under 18 years old.
What should I wear to throw Axes?
Dress Code: Smart Casual or Fancy Dress – we don’t mind!
However, all shoes must be full coverage (no sandals, high heels or open toes, sorry!) and anything that may interfere with throwing axes (scarves, hooped earrings, hoodie strings, long hair etc.) must be removed, tucked in or tied back during the session.
